WE MARKET
OUR SOFTWARE
DIFFERENTLY
Advanced Ortho doesn't exhibit at the national and regional
orthodontic society meetings and we are regularly asked why.
Please read this
explanation; you might agree with our philosophy.
After 17 years in this industry, we can assure you that selecting the right software for
your
practice is one of the most important
(and expensive) buying decisions
you will make. As paperless practices become the norm,
making the
correct decision is even more critical because the
management software will essentially dictate how your practice
operates.
To reach a decision on which program to purchase,
many doctors visit
software exhibits at an orthodontic
meeting. After looking at several programs the doctor
and staff often cannot recall which software did what; remembering
only the 'bells and whistles.'
Afterward, doctors
regularly
remark,
"I'm even
more confused now."
If this is your
method of evaluating programs, ask yourself:
-
Did I
get an uninterrupted personal demonstration?
-
Was the sales
rep knowledgeable enough to answer all my questions about
how the software could work in my practice?
-
Was
the sales rep fidgety because other people
were waiting and he/she didn't know if I was a serious prospect?
-
Did I have
to make a lot of trips back and forth to
the different exhibits before
getting personalized attention?
In our
opinion, an orthodontic show is a terrible place to
evaluate, compare, and then select which software to
purchase. This theory seems validated by the
fact that the average orthodontist in practice for 15 or
more years is now using their
third
software program
and
orthodontic
shows were the primary
evaluation method used during
that time period!
Advanced Ortho does things differently. By appointment,
we demonstrate our software to the orthodontist and/or staff via the Internet. This is the
equivalent of an in-office demo and there aren't any
outside interruptions.
Trainers
do all our demos using a current version of our program
containing about 3,000 test patients. You will be shown everything you
want to see and your questions will be answered correctly
because our trainers have orthodontic office experience. If
you get tired and want a break,
an additional demo session can be scheduled at your
convenience.
After the
demonstration, if you are
interested in obtaining a proposal and/or discussing your
particular needs, tell the trainer and a knowledgeable
person will call you. The
discussion will be private and uninterrupted. We
will gladly provide a list of references made
up of users who have
consented to talk with
prospective clients about our software.
They will verify
that what we tell you about our software and services
is truthful.
Our
method allows you to learn
everything
you want to know about our software so
a fully informed decision can be made.
And if you
go to the orthodontic meetings in order to get a show discount:
AOS offers similar discounts for purchases
made during the same time period.
None of the hassles
and all the benefits: So, what's not to like about our method?
P.S.
There is one other reason why we do not exhibit at
orthodontic society meetings: Due to the referrals from AOS users and the many visitors
to this website, Advanced Ortho doesn't find it necessary to
advertise or attend trade shows to be financially
successful. The savings we derive are passed to clients in the
form of
lower software prices.
